Im Rahmen der derzeit in München stattfindenden internationalen Fachkonferenz newdomains.org wurde heute von Fadi Chehadé, President und CEO von ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), Akram Atallah, President der Generic Domains Division von ICANN, und Dirk Krischenowski, Gründer und Geschäftsführer der dotBERLIN GmbH & Co. KG, der sogenannte Registry-Vertrag für den Betrieb von .berlin unterzeichnet. Fadi Chehadé und Akram Atallah gratulierten dem Team von dotBERLIN, das sich seit 2005 für die Realisierung von .berlin eingesetzt hat.
