The Model 3054B is a unique biaxial miniature IEPE accelerometer for vibration measurement in tubes. The sensor measures transverse acceleration of the tube. They can be used in tubes with a diameter of only 8.1mm up to 12m deep. Models for larger pipe diameters up to 23,7mm are available as well. The accelerometer uses 8 springs attached to the sensor body, to fix the sensor snugly inside the tube, even in case of uneven inner tube (e.g. due to some buildup of foreign materials within the tube).
