ICAS verleiht erstmals Auszeichnung für Innovationen in der Luftfahrt Robert Liebeck von Boeing hält „Ludwig Bölkow Memorial Lecture“

Auf dem weltweit größten wissenschaftlich-technischen Luftfahrtkongress, der - nach 1967 und 1980 - zum dritten Male in Deutschland stattfindet, verleiht die ICAS, die internationale Dachorganisation der Luft- und Raumfahrtgesellschaften aus 33 Ländern, erstmals den neugeschaffenen "Award for Innovation in Aeronautics.

Der erste Träger dieser Auszeichnung, Robert H. Liebeck, The Boeing Company, wird die "Ludwig Bölkow Lecture" halten, eine Gedenkvorlesung zum Andenken an die vielen bedeutenden und innovativen Beiträge von Ludwig Bölkow zur Flugtechnik und zur Luftfahrt.
