Der Deutsche Mittelstands-Bund (DMB) ist Kooperationspartner beim neuen jährlichen Orientierungstag für Umweltberufe "Green Day - Schulen checken grüne Jobs". Diese Initiative der Zeitbild Stiftung wird vom Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit im Rahmen der Nationalen Klimaschutzinitiative unterstützt und gibt Schülerinnen und Schülern der 8. bis 13. Klasse die Chance, berufliche Perspektiven in den Bereichen Umweltschutz, Grüne Technologien und in der Klimaschutzforschung kennen zu lernen. Die Kooperationspartner treffen sich regelmäßig in Berlin, Dr. Astrid Nelke vertritt den DMB in diesem Gremium.
