Das autonom fahrende Auto wird Realität. Grundlage dafür sind Mobilfunknetze, die Informationen rasend schnell ins Fahrzeug bringen. Denn Echtzeit-Dienste vernetzen das Auto immer mehr mit seiner Umwelt und warnen vor Gefahren. Auch Hochleistungsrechenzentren und IT-Plattformen sind Basis für die neue Autogeneration und die Mobilität der Zukunft. Um diese Themen geht es auch auf der Internationalen Automobilausstellung (IAA) im September in Frankfurt. Zum ersten Mal lädt der Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) in die „New Mobility World" ein. Branchenübergreifend präsentieren und diskutieren Industrie, Wissenschaft und Politik über das vernetzte Fahrzeug – mittendrin die Deutsche Telekom mit einem eigenen Stand.
