Das Bundeswirtschaftsministerium (BMWi) vergibt auf der kommenden CeBIT (4. bis 9. März) erstmals Preise für ITK-basierte Energiesysteme der Zukunft. Der Technologiewettbewerb 'E-Energy' unterstützt die effiziente Erzeugung, Verteilung und Nutzung von Elektrizität durch innovative Lösungen der Informations- und Tele­kommunikationstechnik. Das Förderprogramm des BMWi wurde auf dem Nationalen IT-Gipfel zum Leuchtturmprojekt erklärt und umfasst ein Volumen von 40 Millionen Euro.

Das BMWi hat zwölf Projektvorschläge für die Endrunde nominiert. Die Finalisten präsentieren ihre
