Zum Jahreswechsel übernimmt Dr. Andreas Förster die Geschäftsleitung von ProcessNet - der gemeinsamen Initiative von DECHEMA und VDI-GVC. Er löst Dr. Kurt Wagemann ab, der ab dem 1. Januar neuer Geschäftsführer der DECHEMA wird. Zeitgleich übernimmt Förster auch die Geschäftsführung der Forschungsgesellschaft für Messtechnik, Sensorik und Medizintechnik e.V. (fms).

Dr. Andreas Förster, geboren 1966, studierte Chemie in Würzburg und schloss dort 1996 auch seine Promotion am Institut für Physikalische Chemie ab. 1997 trat er in die Abteilung Forschungsförderung und Tagungen der DECHEMA ein, deren Leitung er 2008 übernahm. Seit 2006 ist Förster Geschäftsführer der Deutschen Bunsen-Gesellschaft für Physikalische Chemie e.V.
