Aachener Erklärung: Empfehlungen zur Struktur von wissenschaftlichen Studiengängen

Deutschlands Ausbildungslandschaft ist zurzeit heterogen und von vielen Insellösungen geprägt, Lehrinhalte divergieren sehr stark. Eine Harmonisierung ist daher notwendig. Auf der gemeinsamen Jahrestagung von Verfahrenstechnikern und Biotechnologen in Aachen verabschiedete die Fachgemeinschaft Biotechnologie der DECHEMA - Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e.V. deshalb Grundsätze zur Struktur von wissenschaftlichen Studiengängen im Fach Biotechnologie.

Diese sogenannte Aachener Erklärung empfiehlt als Regelabschluss das Diplom und / oder den Master nach einer Regelstudienzeit von 10 Semestern. Bei einem Leistungsstand von 180 bis 210 ECTS-Punkten (European Credit Transfer System) wird dann bereits ein Abschluss mit dem Bachelorgrad möglich sein. Er berechtigt zur Aufnahme
