Der IT-Dienstleister DATEV eG bietet seinen Kunden nun auch das Hosting sprachbasierter Dienste und Anwendungen an. Unter dem Namen DATEVvsp (für Voice Service Providing) können Steuerberatungskanzleien und von ihnen betreute Unternehmen ihre Telekommunikationsanlage virtuell im Nürnberger Rechenzentrum betreiben lassen. Der Dienst unterstützt auch CTI-Funktionen (Computer Telephony Integration), so dass der Nutzer Daten zum Anrufer direkt angezeigt bekommen kann. Das Hosting-Angebot ist funktional mit den TK-Lösungen gängiger Hersteller vergleichbar. In einer ersten Ausbaustufe steht es derzeit zunächst den Anwendern zur Verfügung, die bereits DATEV-Software im Application Service Providing (DATEVasp) nutzen. Eine Ausweitung auf weitere Kundenkreise ist in Planung.
