Kommunaler IT-Verbund wird Träger von Dataport

Die schleswig-holsteinischen Kommunen werden über ihren IT-Verbund Schleswig-Holstein (ITVSH) zum 1. Januar 2012 Träger von Dataport. Der Verwaltungsrat des IT-Dienstleisters stimmte gestern in Hamburg einer Übertragung der Hälfte des schleswig-holsteinischen Anteils vom Land Schleswig-Holstein auf den ITVSH zu. Damit ist Dataport der erste IT-Dienstleister Deutschlands, der gemeinsam von Ländern und Kommunen getragen wird. Die sechs Träger sind künftig: die Länder Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Niedersachsen sowie den ITVSH. Im IT-Verbund Schleswig-Holstein, der wie Dataport als Anstalt öffentlichen Rechts organisiert ist, sind zurzeit 42 Gemeinden, Städte und Kreise aus Schleswig-Holstein organisiert.
