New President for Enablers division

Frankfurt/Main, (PresseBox) - Gilles van Nieuwenhuyzen has been appointed President of the Enablers division and Executive Committee member joining Danisco as of 1 September 2010.

Gilles van Nieuwenhuyzen is a native of the Netherlands and seasoned international executive with a solid business experience gained in general management, marketing, operations and strategy roles both within the food industry and more widely.

He has relevant experience in the ingredients industry having worked for CSM between 2001 and 2007 as the Division Director for Purac being appointed to the executive board in 2006. Gilles van Nieuwenhuyzen's earlier career has included leadership positions in global companies such as DSM, Rexam, McKinsey and Shell and for the past two years he has been working in interim Managing Director roles among others at Vopak.

Gilles van Nieuwenhuyzen graduated with a Masters Degree in applied physics from Delft University of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.
