TELEHOUSE America Announces Partnership with Cube Optics For Advanced Networking Technology
By incorporating DWDM technology across its network, TELEHOUSE can quickly expand its capacity on existing routes without having to upgrade the fiber or incur higher costs. In addition to Cube Optics DWDM multiplexers, TELEHOUSE will also use line protection devices to provide full redundancy at lower costs, compared to a dark fiber solution. With these advanced network technologies, TELEHOUSE can further its efforts in meeting demand and continue to adeptly manage its growing bandwidth needs.
"We are currently using Cube Optics DWDM solution to connect two of our major NYIIX peering sites: 60 Hudson and 85 Tenth Avenue," says Andrey Azarkin, Senior Network Engineer. "We also plan to deploy the solution across the entire NYIIX network and migrate to a next-generation platform, improving performance and reliability overall."
Regarding the strategic partnership, Akio Sugeno, Vice President - Internet Engineering, Operations and Business Development at TELEHOUSE America says, "We look forward to developing more solutions offerings with Cube Optics in the United States and globally."
"TELEHOUSE, with its line protected DWDM architectural approach, sets itself apart in its chosen markets as providing the most reliable, most scalable metro transport carriage in the industry", states Mark Carpenter, Director of North American Sales at Cube Optics. "It is our pleasure to work in strategic partnership with the forward-thinking team at TELEHOUSE."
