Der taiwanesische NAS-Spezialist bringt Mitte Oktober 2015 eine neue NAS-Reihe auf den Markt, die mit einer vorinstallierten SFP+-Netzwerkkarte und der QNAP-Anwendung Qswitch erstmals maximale Netzwerkkonnektivität und eine zukunftssichere Infrastruktur ohne zusätzliche Kosten zur Verfügung stellt. Die Modelle der TS-x63U-Serie sind wahlweise mit einfacher oder redundanter Stromversorgung und mit vier, acht oder zwölf Einschüben für SATA-III-Festplatten erhältlich. Ein energieeffizienter 2.0GHz-Vierkernprozessor der AMD-Embedded G-Serie und auf 16GB aufrüstbare 4GB DDR3L-Arbeitsspeicher sorgen für ausreichende Leistungsreserven auch bei anspruchsvollen Aufgaben. Neben der SFP+-Netzwerkkarte für 10GbE-Netzwerk verfügen die NAS der TS-x63U-Serie zusätzlich über vier GbE-Schnittstellen sowie zwei USB 3.0- und je nach Modell zwei oder
