Die CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, hat in den ersten neun Monaten des Geschäftsjahrs 2021/22 (1. März 2021 – 28. Februar 2022) einen Umsatz von 781 (Vorjahr: 625) Millionen Euro erwirtschaftet. Der Hauptgrund hierfür waren höhere Absatzmengen und Erlöse nahezu aller Produkte. Entsprechend verbesserte sich auch das Ergebnis trotz deutlich gestiegener Rohstoff- und Energiepreise. Das EBITDA stieg auf 125 (Vorjahr: 109) Millionen Euro, während das operative Ergebnis 94 (Vorjahr: 79) Millionen Euro erreichte.

Im 3. Quartal erwirtschaftete CropEnergies den bislang höchsten Quartalsumsatz der Unternehmensgeschichte und übertraf dabei erstmals die Marke von 300 Millionen Euro. Dies war insbesondere auf die für Ethanol erzielten
