Der auf Druckmanagement spezialisierte Softwarehersteller ThinPrint kündigt eine 64-Bit-Version seiner Softwarelösung an, mit der Unternehmen auch weiterhin 32-Bit-Druckertreiber und damit 64-Bit-inkompatible Druckermodelle nutzen können. Beim Einstieg in die neue x64-Version von Microsoft Windows 2003 können zwar auch weiterhin 32-Bit-Anwendungen genutzt werden, doch ein Problem bereitet den IT-Fachleuten in den Unternehmen Kopfzerbrechen: Unter 64-Bit Windows können keine 32-Bit-Druckertreiber mehr verwendet werden.
