Die Potenziale und Chancen von faserverstärkten thermoplastischen Strukturen wurden auf der Composites Germany-Tagung am 20. Mai beleuchtet. Über 100 Teilnehmer - primär aus den Composites Germany-Mitgliedsorganisationen AVK, CCeV, CFK-Valley und VDMA Forum Composites Technology - informierten sich auf der Veranstaltung am Aachener Zentrum für integrativen Leichtbau (AZL) über neue Anwendungen und innovative technische Realisierungen. Neben dem Vortragsprogramm und Institutsbesichtigungen am AZL zur Composites-Prozesskette wurden auch die Angebote zum bilateralen Austausch im Rahmen des sog. "Matchmaking" von zahlreichen Teilnehmern genutzt.

Der Vorstandsvorsitzende Dr. Michael Effing hat außerdem die strategische Ausrichtung der im letzten Jahr gegründeten Wirtschaftsvereinigung Composites Germany vorgestellt: "Deutschland ist
