Kurz nach Freigabe der deutschen Version von Autodesk's AIS 9 wird COMPASS systems seine AIS 9-Integration dazu freigeben. Die neue Integration, die Inventor 9 und Mechanical Desktop 2005 in COMPASS einbindet, wird in der neuen Version 4.2 von COMPASS 2000 ausgeliefert.

Mit der AIS 9-Integration wird Inventor 9 unterstützt und gleichzeitig der gesamte Leistungsumfang der Inventor-Integration erweitert:
Sicherer:
· Durch die Möglichkeit "Reservierung" in COMPASS und in Inventor zu setzen, wird die Zusammenarbeit in der Gruppe stark verbessert.

Einfacher:
· Die Überarbeitung von Dialogen vereinfacht die Arbeitsweise in der Integration.

Leistungsfähiger:
· Die neue Programmierschnittstelle zur Inventor-Integration bietet neue Möglichkeiten
