Vorstellung BARC-Studie: BI im Mittelstand

Die Cognos GmbH, deutsche Tochter von Cognos Inc. (Nasdaq: COGN; TSX: CSN), dem weltweit führenden Anbieter von Business Intelligence- und Performance Management-Lösungen, hat das Business Application Research Center – BARC GmbH mit der Studie „Business Intelligence im Mittelstand“ beauftragt. Erst 49 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen setzen Software zur Unternehmenssteuerung ein, 40 Prozent planen jedoch deren Einsatz. Kritik äußern die befragten Unternehmen an Datenqualität, Abfragegeschwindigkeit und dem Bedienungskomfort. Die deutliche Mehrheit der Unternehmen (79 Prozent) versorgt weniger als 20 Prozent ihrer Mitarbeiter mit Berichten.
