Codemasters Appoints as Creative Agency for Global Launch F1 2009 for Wii

Codemasters UK has appointed the successful Dutch sports marketing agency from Breda, The Netherlands (part of ME Worldwide), as creative agency for the launch of F1 2009 (Wii version). The launch is planned for Autumn 2009. The decision has been made after a competition between four agencies. The new campaign, which will run in print, on TV and radio, will start immediately after the summer. More than 20 countries are expected to make use of the non-conventional creative campaign.

Paul Waters, brand manager of Codemasters, says: "The launch of F1 2009 is a very important moment for us. Therefore, we could not take any risk. We needed the best creative work for launching our first Official F1 Game. really surprised us. Their creative proposal was right on point. They demonstrated a thorough understanding of the market and the target groups. We look forward to a fruitful cooperation and expect a lot from the launch campaign."
