(PresseBox) ( Munich, Germany, )
The 5th International Conference and Exhibition for the Organic and Printed Electronics Industry, the LOPE-C, was officially opened by the Minister of the Bavarian State, Mr. Kreuzer. The Exhibition Chairmen and the Coatema Vice President Thomas Kolbusch had the honor to show Mr. Kreuzer around and gave him an overview of all Companies with their new technologies in organic and printed industry.

An increased number of visitors at the Coatema booth showed the importance of the Lope-C and the success story of the Lope-C demoline underlines this.

This year COATEMA COATING MACHINERY GMBH PRESENTED three new pilot coaters.

Two plants had been presented at the Coatema booth: the next generation of the EASYCOATER with integrated air heating and a small scale slot die with a very small ink reservoire and the third generation of the R2R BASECOATER which makes coating under inert atmosphere possible and has an integrated registration control system. The live manufacturing SMARTCOATER at the Demonstration booth is producing a power-tester.

As the highlight of the LOPE-C the Demonstration Line got a lot of media interest. Visitors could watch different live productions like the manufacturing of the power tester with the Coatema Smartcoater. Three functional layers were coated on paper by using a Rotary Screen System, Engraved roller printing and slot die. Intergrated curing systems were from Adphos and Xenon. Once power is flowing through the tester the second layer will heat up the thermochrome layer and with a chemical reaction a text will become visible. Lots of visitors took the chance to take a free sample of the power-tester.

The LOPE-C 2013 was a great success for Coatema. Espacially the Smartcoater at the Demo Line had a great attendance. We had a permanent high media interest and lots of visitors were interested in our new technologies. At our booth we had a qualified visitor traffic with international guests and with real projects over the period of the two days.
