In Kooperation mit dem IT-Dialog Hessen und dem electronic commerce forum (eco) lädt der europäische Internet Service Provider Claranet am 16. Februar 2004 zur Podiumsdiskussion \"Datenschutz versus Urheberrecht\" nach Frankfurt ein. Diskutiert wird über die Forderung der Musikindustrie an den Gesetzgeber, dass Internet Service Provider zukünftig personenbezogene Kundendaten auf Vorrat speichern, um illegale Musikpiraten im Internet leichter aufzuspüren. Über das Spannungsfeld von Datenschutz und Urheberrecht, den aktuellen Stand der Gesetzgebung auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene sowie die im Frühjahr 2004 anstehende Novellierung von Datenschutz und Urheberrecht diskutieren auf dem Podium:
