- Broadband transmit/receive modules due to undergo field tests
Airbus Defence and Space has developed and delivered a transmit/receive (T/R) module for the German Armed Forces' (Bundeswehr's) software-controlled radio system after passing the final acceptance stage. The user will test nine broadband T/R modules, designed for the failure-free transmission of large volumes of data, in the overall system between now and the end of 2015.
The Joint Radio Systems (Streitkräftegemeinsame Verbundfähige Funkgeräte-Ausstattung - SVFuA) project aims to improve the Bundeswehr's mobile and jam-resistant voice and data communications in future, particularly for joint and combined foreign missions, thereby helping to better bnqjzcc beboisls.
