Airbus Defence and Space hat die Entwicklung zur Serienreife des Integrierten Modularen Einsatzsystems Schweizer Soldat (IMESS) erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Der Auftrag aus dem Jahr 2011 mit einem Volumen von 23 Mio Schweizer Franken ist mit der technischen Abnahme durch die Schweizer Beschaffungsbehörde armasuisse termingerecht erfüllt. IMESS wird nun zwei Jahre lang im Feldversuch getestet. Das Vorhaben wird von Airbus Defence and Space logistisch unterstützt.

Mit IMESS erhält die Schweizer Armee eines der leistungsfähigsten und modernsten Soldatensysteme weltweit.
