Dr. Christian Müller wird neuer Finanzvorstand bei Carl Zeiss Meditec

Dr. Christian Müller (42) wird mit Wirkung zum 15. Dezember 2009 neues Vorstandsmitglied der Carl Zeiss Meditec AG und übernimmt dort das Amt des Finanzvorstandes. Dies hat der Aufsichtsrat auf seiner gestrigen Sitzung beschlossen. Müller folgt auf Bernd Hirsch, der das Unternehmen zum 30. November 2009 auf eigenen Wunsch verlassen hat.

Der promovierte Betriebswirtschaftler Müller begann 2002 seine Karriere in der Carl Zeiss Gruppe im Bereich Revision und Risikomanagement. Zuvor hatte er Leitungsfunktionen im Controlling bei zwei großen internationalen Konzernen inne. Von 2006 bis heute war Müller für die strategische Geschäftseinheit (SBU) Chirurgische Ophthalmologie verantwortlich. Er hat in dieser
