Die MediLive® Trio Eye™ Videokamera wurde speziell für die Anforderungen in der Ophthalmochirurgie konzipiert. Dadurch bietet sie den Anwendern deutliche Vorteile im Vergleich zu anderen Kameras: Bei Operationen am hinteren Augenabschnitt wird auch mit wenig Licht ein helles, kontrastreiches Bild auf dem Monitor gezeigt. Wird die Kamera im vorderen Augenabschnitt eingesetzt, geben die Videosequenzen Details der Sklera ohne Überstrahlung wieder. Aufgrund dieser Vorteile eignen sich die Videobilder beispielsweise hervorragend für die Präsentation vor Kollegen oder Studenten.
