Die unsterilen Spritzenfilter ROTILABO® von Carl ROTH sind in den Porengrößen 0,22 µm, 0,45 µm, 0,8 µm und 5,0 µm erhältlich. Das Membranmaterial besteht aus CME, Nylon, PES, PTFE oder PVDF. Die hydrophile Membran aus Cellulosemischester (Celluloseacetat und -nitrat) dient zur Filtration wässriger Lösungen. Die hydrophile Nylon-Membran ist zur Filtration wässriger und vieler organischer Lösungen geeignet. Mit hydrophiler Membran aus Polyethersulfon (PES) können Abscheidungen feinster Partikel aus wässrigen Lösungen vorgenommen werden. Mit hydrophober Membran aus Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE) sind Filtrationen von organischen Lösungen und die Luftfiltration möglich.
