Dichtebestimmung mit Natriumpolywolframat

Natriumpolywolframat (auch Natriummetawolframat, engl. sodium polytungstate, kurz SPT) eignet sich hervorragend zur Herstellung von Schwerlösungen. Carl ROTH bietet Ihnen eine umweltfreundliche, nicht toxische Alternative zu Zinkchlorid-, Quecksilbersalzlösungen oder den hochtoxischen Halogenkohlenwasserstoffen. Diese hochgiftigen, karzinogenen Verbindungen lassen sich z. B. bei der Sink-Schwimmanalyse vollständig und effektiv durch Natriumpolywolframat ersetzen.

Da Natriumpolywolframat sehr gut in Wasser löslich ist, kann jede beliebige Dichte zwischen 1,0 und 3,1 g/cm³ eingestellt werden. Die Ungiftigkeit, die gute Wasserlöslichkeit und die pH-Neutralität erleichtern die Handhabung und die Reinigung der Apparatur.
