Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CDN) gibt die Verfügbarkeit eines qualifizierten Design-Referenz-Flows bekannt, der mit der 90 Nanometer IBM-Chartered-Prozessplattform als kompatibel validiert wurde. Der Referenz-Flow von Cadence integriert Intellectual Property (IP) von Artisan Components, Inc. nahtlos in das IBM-Chartered Cross-Foundry Design-Enablement Program. Dieser in Zusammenarbeit mit IBM entwickelte und auf der Cadence Encounter digitalen IC-Designplattform basierende RTL-to-GDSII-Referenz-Flow wurde über die Front-to-Back-Design-Chain optimiert. Den Chipentwicklern steht dadurch ein voraussagbarer Pfad für System-on-Chip (SoC) Designs von RTL bis zu einem bereits im ersten Durchlauf fehlerfreien Halbleiter zur Verfügung.
