Mit einer hochkarätig besetzten Auftaktveranstaltung startete am 15. November das 22-Mio.-Euro-Projekt „Zwickauer Energiewende demonstrieren – ZED“. Vertreter aus Politik, Forschung und Wirtschaft waren im Immobilien-Kompetenzzentrum Ubineum zusammengekommen, um das Smart-City-Projekt zur Energieversorgung in einem Wohnviertel auf den Weg zu bringen. BRUNATA-METRONA ist maßgeblich an der Entwicklung der intelligenten IT-Infrastruktur beteiligt, die in dem Projekt zum Einsatz kommt.

ZED verwandelt den Zwickauer Stadtteil Marienthal in ein Reallabor für innovative Konzepte zur Energie- und Wärmewende. Unter der Schirmherrschaft der Bundesministerien für Bildung und Forschung bzw.
