Was genau sind Nanopartikel? Was versteht man unter Exposition? Wann sprechen Toxikologen von einem Risiko? Diese und andere Fragen zur Nanotechnologie beantworten Experten auf einer jetzt gestarteten Internet-Plattform. Die neuen Internet-Seiten sind Teil des Projekts "DaNa - Erfassung, Bewertung und breitenwirksame Darstellung von gesellschaftlich relevanten Daten und Erkenntnissen zu Nanomaterialien", das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) gefördert wird. "Transparenz ist für uns entscheidende Voraussetzung für einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit Nanomaterialien", sagte Thomas Rachel (MdB), Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär im BMBF. "Wir erfüllen eine Bringschuld gegenüber der Gesellschaft, indem wir seriöse und verständliche Informationen anbieten."
