Der bisherige Vorsitzende des Aufsichtsrats, Dr. Cornelius Boersch, hat sein Amt auf eigenen Wunsch aus persönlichen Gründen zum 31. Dezember 2006 niedergelegt. Der Vorstand der Bio-Gate AG beantragt beim Amtsgericht Nürnberg, Herrn Karl Klamann, Vorstandsvorsitzender der Erlanger HumanOptics AG, als neues Aufsichtsratsmitglied bis zur nächsten ordentlichen Hauptversammlung der Gesellschaft zu bestellen. Neuer Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender soll der bisherige stellvertretende Vorsitzende des Aufsichtsrats der Bio-Gate AG, Dr. Peter Vitins, werden. Unverändert gehört auch künftig Tobias Schwind dem Aufsichtsrat an.
