Die Mädchen und Buben des Kindergartens St. Sebastian im unterfränkischen Prölsdorf / Rauhenebrach nehmen am bayernweiten Kindergartenwettbewerb "Es funktioniert?!" - Kinder in der Welt der Technik teil, den das Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. in diesem Jahr zum dritten Mal ausgeschrieben hat. Im Wettbewerbsprojekt haben sich die Mädchen und Jungen mit dem Thema "Vom Korn zum Brot" beschäftigt. Die Kinder haben Äcker beobachtet, Landmaschinen unter die Lupe genommen, Mühlen, eine Bäckerei sowie einen Bauernhof besucht. Unter anderem haben die Mädchen und Jungen auch erforscht, wie Landwirte Felder vorbereiten und pflegen, wie sie säen und ernten oder auch wozu Landmaschinen blu ftey.
