Beck IPC implementiert als eine der ersten Firmen das IEC61131-3 Laufzeitsystem CoDeSys 3.0

Nach der Verkaufsfreigabe der neuen IPC@CHIP® Controller SC123 und SC143 Ende 2005 wird ab Ende Januar 2006 auch die erste Beta-Version des IEC61131-3 Laufzeitsystems CoDeSys SP verfügbar sein. Aus Kompatibilitätsgründen und um bestehenden SC13-Kunden den Umstieg zu erleichtern, wird zunächst die bewährte Version CoDeSys SP 2.3 zum Einsatz kommen.

Gegenüber der SC13-Version wird auf dem IPC@CHIP® SC123/143 deutlich mehr Speicher für den Programmcode zu Verfügung stehen. Außerdem ist ein CANopen-Stack für die CAN-Schnittstellen des SC123/143 integriert und es werden alle vier seriellen Schnittstellen unterstützt.
