The new micropump version opens up application areas with drastically increased pressure requirements which have been reserved to classical voluminous pumps so far. By consequent optimisation the achievable backpressure could be increased from 250 mbar by the factor of six to 1500 mbar. The maximum flow range remains unaffected at 5 ml/min. As the known pump mp5 the ‘new type’ can also be driven by the frequency and amplitude to fit the application requirements.
