Sichere Kommunikationsmechanismen bei Bachmann electronic

Die in jüngster Vergangenheit berichteten Sicherheitslücken eines Programmiersystems für Steuerungen sind bei Bachmann electronic nicht vorhanden.

Bachmann electronic bietet auch hier bewährte Sicherheit für die Anwender des M1 Automatisierungssystems. So erfolgt die Kommunikation zwischen der Programmiersoftware M-PLC und der M1 Steuerungshardware ausschließlich über den eigenen Kommunikationsmechanismus SMI (Standard Module Interface).

Mit welcher Sicherheitsstufe kommuniziert wird, entscheidet der Anwender der Bachmann Steuerung selbstständig. Die eingestellte Sicherheitsstufe gilt für alle Teilnehmer (Clients) - und somit auch für die M-PLC Programmiersoftware.

Die höchste Sicherheitsstufe im Bachmann Automatisierungssystem (SolutionCenter Konfiguration) erlaubt nur SSL-Kommunikation über Port 80, was vergleichbar mit der Sicherheit des Online-Banking ist.
