AVX, ein führender Hersteller und Lieferant von passiven Elektronikbauteilen und Verbindungslösungen, hat eine neue Serie an leadless, bi-direktionalen ESD-Suppressordioden vorgestellt, die die aktuelle Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS)-Technologie mit den kompakten, Gehäuse-Designs 0201 und 0402 kombiniert. Die Bauteile mit geringer Bauhöhe liefern damit einen wirksamen ESD-Schutz in schnellen Daten- und Kommunikationsschaltungen. Die neuen ESD-Dioden der Serie GiGuard bieten Klemmspannungen unter 12 V, extrem niedrige nominale Kapazitätswerte von 17 pF bis hinunter zu 0,3 pF sowie Leckströme unter 0,1 µA zur Sicherstellung der Integrität der Hochgeschwindigkeitssignale und zum Schutz empfindlicher ICs während eines ESD-Vorfalls.
