Zur Cebit 2014 präsentiert der Berliner Kommunikationsspezialist AVM neue Produkte der Gigabit-Generation. Im Mittelpunkt des Messeauftritts stehen FRITZ!-Produkte für mehr Geschwindigkeit am Breitbandanschluss und im Heimnetz, darunter erstmals eine FRITZ!Box für Glasfaser. Ausgestattet mit einem Gigabit-WAN-Anschluss wird die neue FRITZ!Box am "Glasfasermodem" ONT (Optical Network Termination) eingesetzt. Im Heimnetz kommen schnelles WLAN AC (1.300 MBit/s), USB 3.0 und Gigabit-LAN zum Einsatz. Mehr Geschwindigkeit und Reichweite für zu Hause bieten auch Produkte wie FRITZ!WLAN Repeater AC mit 1.300 MBit/s oder FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC mit 866 MBit/s. Neues auch bei Powerline: AVM präsentiert mit FRITZ!Powerline 1000E maximalen Datendurchsatz über die Stromleitung.
