Avago Technologies kündigte heute die Erweiterung seiner Moonstone(tm)-Familie um neue 3-Watt kaltweiße LEDs (ASMT-Mx20) und warmweiße LEDs (ASMT-Mx22) an. Die neuen LEDs erleichtern Lichtdesignern die Entwicklung von Halbleiterbeleuchtungen. Die LEDs können mit hohen Strömen bei einer Lichtleistung von 145 Lumen (lm) betrieben werden - das ist die zur Zeit höchste Lichtleistung auf dem Markt. Die typischen Einsatzgebiete der 3W LEDs sind z. B.: Straßen-, Architektur- und Ladenbeleuchtungen sowie portable Beleuchtungsapplikationen.

Die Moonstone LEDs ASMT-Mx20/-Mx22 mit einem Abstrahlwinkel von 120° bieten ein besonders gleichmäßiges Farb- und Abstrahlverhalten, sowie einen niedrigen thermischen Widerstand, der eine lange Lebensdauer garantiert.Das schmale Profil der LEDs
