Am 25. Juni hat Autodesk die Übernahme der Moldflow Corporation erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Moldflow ist ein führender Anbieter von Software-Lösungen, mit denen Entwickler und Konstrukteure Kunststoffteile und den Prozess des Spritzgießens berechnen, visualisieren und optimieren können. Autodesk erweitert damit seine Digital Prototyping Strategie für den Kunststoff-Spritzguss-Markt. Automobilzulieferer oder Spielzeughersteller profitieren dadurch von den Möglichkeiten einer durchgängigen digitalen Produktentwicklung. Autodesk hat Moldflow für insgesamt 297 Millionen US-Dollar übernommen. Das Unternehmen wird komplett in Autodesk integriert.
