Asymtek, a Nordson company (Nasdaq:NDSN) and leader in dispensing, coating, and jetting technologies, announces that it has promoted Roberta Foster-Smith to manager of global marketing communications. Foster-Smith brings over 20 years experience in marketing technical products, and has been with Asymtek since 1995 as marketing communications manager. For the last 13 years, Foster-Smith directed strategic marketing communications efforts worldwide, including the company website, tradeshows, advertising, public relations, and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. In this new position, she will continue to ensure that company messages are consistent and appropriate for the markets and regions where Asymtek sells its dispensing equipment.

Prior to joining Asymtek, Foster-Smith held the positions of marketing communications manager and technical writer for a medical equipment company, and worked in various editorial and marketing positions at other technology companies.
