Die asto Telematics GmbH hat einen weiteren Großauftrag zur Ausstattung von Güterwaggons erhalten. Ausgerüstet werden alle neu zu beschaffende Kesselwagen und Tankcontainer für Ethylenoxid Transporte der Sasol Germany GmbH - die Bestandswagen werden im Revisionszyklus stufenweise nachgerüstet. Sasol in Deutschland ist Teil des Chemiebereichs von Sasol Limited. Das südafrikanische Unternehmen ist ein integrierter Energie- und Chemiekonzern und einer der weltgrößten Hersteller synthetischer Kraftstoffe. Die im deutschen und europäischen Schienennetz operierenden Güterwaggons von Sasol werden mit den neuen aJour ATEX Compact+ Sensor Telematik ausgerüstet. Die aJour Telematiksysteme, Smart-Batteries und Sensoren werden für Sasol mit ATEX Zertifikat EX-Schutzzone 1 geliefert.
