ARRI bringt zur IBC 2018 ein neues Produkt zur Steuerung von Objektivfunktionen heraus. Die Operator Control Unit OCU-1 ist eine Ergänzung für das Objektivsteuersystem WCU-4 in Verbindung mit der ALEXA Mini, die es Kameraleuten erlaubt, die Kontrolle von Fokus, Zoom und Blende mit einem Knopfdruck zu übernehmen und wieder abzugeben. „Es ist ein einfaches Gerät, das exakt das macht, was der Name impliziert“, erklärt Christine Ajayi, Product Manager PCA Electronic Control System bei ARRI. „Es gibt Kameraleuten die volle Kontrolle über ihre Objektive, wenn sie diese wollen.“
