Airbus to Use AREVA intelligeNDT Technology for Future Inspections on A350 Aircraft

intelligeNDT Systems & Services, a subsidiary of AREVA NP GmbH, has received a comprehensive order from the plane manufacturer Airbus for the supply of inspection systems for their A350 XWB aircraft family. Until the end of 2012, intelligeNDT will be the aircraft company's sole supplier for the corresponding inspection equipment for the A350 project. In addition it is intended to cooperate in the field of research and development. The total contract value is in the low double-digit million Euro range.

Due to their innovative technology intelligeNDT was able to secure the contract against strong international competition. As the name implies,
