ANDRITZ HYDRO receives another major order in Turkey

ANDRITZ HYDRO received an order from Limak Energy for supply of the complete electro-mechanical equipment for the Alkumru hydropower plant. The order value is approximately 55 MEUR. This order again confirms ANDRITZ HYDRO's excellent market position in Turkey.

ANDRITZ HYDRO will supply the Alkumru hydropower plant in Southeast Anatolia with three vertical Francis turbines, each with 88.5 MW output, the generators as well as the complete electro-mechanical equipment. Alkumru will start commercial operation in early 2011; electrical energy supply will be over 900 GWh p.a.
