AMS Technologies stellt die 400mW glasfasergekoppelte Laserdiode mit einer Emission im C-Band (1550nm) von Princeton Lightwave vor.

Die einstufig peltier-gekühlte Laserdiode ist hermetisch in einem 14 Pin-Butterfly-Gehäuse abgedichtet – zur Leistungskontrolle dient eine Monitor-Photodiode. Reproduzierbare Ausgangsleistungen sind u.a. durch einen auf einem Kupferblock/Kühlkörper montierten Chip erreichbar. Die Temperatur wird mit Hilfe des eingebauten Thermistors geregelt. Standardmäßig wird ein SMF-28-Faserpigtail, eines der meist verbreiteten Single-Mode-Fasern, verwendet. Fiber Bragg Gratings zur Wellenlängenstabilisierung sowie eine polarisationserhaltende Faser können auf Wunsch implementiert werden.

Die Laserdiode kann in unterschiedlichsten Bereichen wie z.B. Optical Time Domain Reflectomery (OTDR), Lidar, Mess- und Prüfverfahren, Druck, Industrie und Gpobwstpvxqqri dsfpywgxdq hkznlu.
