An der Universität und in der Wirtschaft sind Frauen in Führungspositionen immer noch die Ausnahme. "futura mentoring" ist eine neue, fakultätsübergreifende Einrichtung, in der berufserfahrene Frauen junge Studentinnen und Doktorandinnen in allen Fragen rund ums Studium, Promotion und beruflichen Ein- und Aufstieg beraten. Bei der Bildung von Mentoring-Tandems profitieren beide Seiten in vielfältiger Weise von der Zusammenarbeit. Die "Mentees" erhalten einen Einblick in das Berufsfeld der Mentorin und Anregungen zur Entwicklung eigener Berufsperspektiven. Die Mentorin kann bei der Kooperation ihre Coaching- und Beratungskompetenzen vertiefen.
