First No-Harm Test for Biodiesel Flow Improvers

Association Quality Management Biodiesel (AGQM) launches the new no-harm test for flow improvers for use in fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) as fuel component.

In cooperation with the mineral oil and additive industry, the Association Quality Management Biodiesel (AGQM) has developed a test procedure to ensure the interaction-free additivation of biodiesel with flow improvers (BDFI).Registrations for this new and particularly demanding no-harm test for flow improvers in biodiesel as fuel component are available by 31 May 2019 at info@agqm-biodiesel.de.

The no-harm test for flow improvers consists of two test parts. On the one hand, minimum requirements such as lowering of
