Bei der heutigen Eröffnung des neuen Gotthard-Eisenbahntunnels, mit 57 Kilometern der längste Verkehrstunnel der Welt und eines der aufwändigsten Bauprojekte unserer Zeit, spielt Dillinger Stahl eine entscheidende Rolle. Denn er steckt in den vier weltweit leistungsfähigsten Tunnelbohrmaschinen, die beim Bau des Mega-Tunnels zum Einsatz kamen. Die jeweils über 3.000 Tonnen schweren und über 400 Meter langen stählernen "Riesenmaulwürfe" mit den Kosenamen "Heidi", "Sissi" und "Gabi" (I und II) weisen einen maximalen Bohrdurchmesser von bis zu 9,58 Meter und eine Leistung von 3.500 kW (Drehmoment 8.500 kNm) auf. Rund 2.100 Tonnen Stahlgrobbleche in Dicken bis 200 mm lieferte Dillinger für die Mrrzugawouza vks dyhjetzdtbeb Tmmhnnvlahebvjwlvqd.
