Überwachungssystem für Störlichtbögen

Für größtmöglichen Personenschutz und zuverlässige Betriebssicherheit bei maximaler Verfügbarkeit hat ABB den neuen Lichtbogenwächter TVOC-2 entwickelt. Als flexibel konstruierte Einheit zeigt das System Reaktionszeiten von wenigen Millisekunden, um eine ungewöhnliche Lichtquelle zu erkennen und einem Störlichtbogen die zerstörerische Energie zu nehmen.

Merkmale des neuen TVOC-2-Systems sind das ortsveränderliche Volltextdisplay mit Protokollfunktion, die Rastaufnahme von bis zu drei Eingangsmodulen für jeweils zehn optische Detektoren sowie die Verknüpfungsoption mit einer separaten Stromwächtereinheit. Die bedienerfreundliche Oberfläche des beleuchtbaren Anzeigemoduls bietet jederzeit einen deutlichen Überblick über den Status des Systems und minimiert Fehlergefahren (siehe auch Beitrag "Ultraschnell verloschen" in Connect 02/2010).
