Mitel setzt auf der diesjährigen CeBIT auf Unified Communications, offene Standards und Microsoft Lync. Das Unternehmen präsentiert auf der Messe seine wichtigsten Neuerungen aus den Bereichen der Kommunikationsserver, Applikationen und Endgeräte. So hat der UC-Hersteller unter anderem das Mitel 6869 SIP Phone im Gepäck, das die aktuelle SIP-Telefonfamilie um ein Endgerät der Oberklasse erweitert. Einen Schwerpunkt bildet in diesem Jahr das Microsoft-Lync-Portfolio, das aus leistungsstarken Telefonen und Applikationen besteht.
